Watch and enjoy Claire Andrade-Watkins’ Some Kind of Funny Porto Rican, a documentary about the gentrification of Fox Port, Rhode Island and the displacement of the Cape Verdean immigrants in that neighborhood in the 1960’s and 1970’s. BU’s Cape Verdean Cultural Association will be hosting a screening at the Women’s Resource Center (basement of the GSU) at 7 pm. Refreshments will be provided.
